We look forward to seeing you at North Shore Baptist Church. Below are the answers to some common questions to make your first visit as relaxing and refreshing as possible. Below you will find helpful information about what to expect.
Are there activities or classes for my children?
We believe in teaching the Bible to people of all ages. During each regular service, child care is provided by qualified and caring adults: Nursery (newborn to 2 yrs), Preschool (2 to 5 yrs), and Children's Church (1st to 2nd grade). Each class offers a relevant Bible lesson and activity time. We offer other age appropriate programs for children and young adults throughout the week.
What kind of church is North Shore Baptist Church?
North Shore Baptist Church is committed to teaching and preaching the Bible. We are a healthy, balanced, and growing church. Everything we do and teach is for the glory of God. God’s glory is best expressed in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The purest form of the gospel is expressed in the doctrines of God’s Sovereign Grace.
What time is your service?
We have two morning services to choose from on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. Each service is about an hour and a half. We enjoy a time of fellowship around free coffee, bagels, and doughnuts between services. You can learn more about our other services and activities on our Events page.
What happens on a normal Sunday morning?
Sunday mornings are a refreshing and enjoyable time. The service begins with a time of worship, blending contemporary choruses and traditional hymns. After the reading of the Scriptures the Word of God is preached, usually by one of our pastors. The Word is presented in an expositional way – meaning that the text is explained and then practically applied to our lives. If you have any questions about North Shore Baptist Church, our pastor or elders would love to speak with you! Please feel free to contact us.
How should I dress?
North Shore Baptist Church is a church of variety. You will fit in whether you are dressed casually or in a suit.
